Plasma Mesotherapy- autologous mesotherapy

It is a revolutionary technique based on the very functioning of the human body. In general, mesotherapy, either on the face and neck or on various parts of the body, is considered one of the best methods of aesthetic medicine to treat skin aging, sagging and facial wrinkles, as well as various aesthetic problems such as cellulite, hair loss, etc.

Most of the substances used in mesotherapy include exogenous elements such as hyaluronic acid and vitamins. Autologous mesotherapy uses substances produced by our own cells to achieve the same results.

Using the patient’s own blood plasma and platelet growth factors, we prompt the skin to produce the same collagen and components necessary for its regeneration.

It has been scientifically proven that by injecting these elements into the skin we prevent and improve wrinkles, drastically hydrate the skin, reduce pigmentation and improve cellulite and sagging in many areas of the body.

Technique: It is a short procedure and the patient can return to his activities immediately. Anesthetic cream is placed on all the places where the treatment will be applied and a small amount of blood is taken (about as much as is needed for a simple blood test). Immediately the blood is centrifuged to separate the red blood cells from the rest of the blood components that will be used. A blood clotting activator is added to the mixture of plasma and platelets and the material is injected into the required areas using a very small needle. Results on the skin start to show after about 2-3 days and it steadily improves over time. In young skins, autologous mesotherapy is recommended every 8-10 months. In skins with more signs of aging and relaxation, it is recommended 2 to 3 times a year. It has spectacular results on the face, neck and décolleté, giving glow and youthful skin. The skin is tighter and smoother. It is perfectly combined with BOTOX and filling treatments with hyaluronic acid for a total face lift, improving the quality of the skin. It is also used on areas of the body that show skin laxity such as the arms and inner thighs.

Heterogeneous mesotherapy:

Injectable mesotherapy is in great development in recent years as it offers the necessary moisture to the skin. The surface treatment with creams can temporarily hydrate the surface of the skin which, however, mainly contains dead cells of the keratin layer but of course cannot provide and maintain the deep hydration needed to maintain its elasticity and healthy glow. The skin naturally contains an important moisturizing factor, hyaluronic acid. Over time, the amount of Hyaluronic acid in the skin decreases, causing it to lose its glow and firmness, to fill in small wrinkles and to be rough in appearance and touch. Injectable mesotherapy using natural uncrosslinked Hyaluronic acid gives the skin back what it has lost.

Application: It is mainly applied to the face, neck and décolleté with impressive results restoring the natural shine and elasticity. The treatment is done after the application of anesthetic cream so that it does not hurt at all. A slight irritation may remain for 12-24 hours at the injection sites. Usually and depending on the condition of the skin, 3-5 sessions are performed with an interval of 15 days between them, and then maintenance of the result with 2 treatments per year is recommended.

In addition to hyaluronic acid, we can also use vitamins C and E for their antioxidant effect, as well as injectable DMAE, an agent with a strong firming effect that is usually applied around the eyes, on the contours of the face and on the neck. Mesotherapy for hydration and firming is indicated from the age of 30 and above for prevention and at older ages for the treatment of signs of aging on the face, neck and décolleté. It also has very good results on the hands and other areas of the body such as the arms and the inner surface of the thighs to improve epidermal relaxation.
